You see this is an unexpected personal experience for me. My parents in their early 20s were neighbors to Kenneth on Paula St in Fullerton. (They moved in 1975 right before he was caught) I grew up hearing stories about him. Stories that seemed too shocking to be real. My dad talked about doing yard work with him and then sharing a beer. I think my parents both agreed he was a bit off but also doing the neighborly thing.

My mom who fit the same descriptions as his some of his victims would receive obscene phone calls after my dad who worked nights would go to work. She’s convinced now that it was 100% him.
